Architecture Case Study
Proposition: An architecture firm is looking for cost
effective alternatives to building 3D model prototypes.
Solution: VRex added stereo 3D modeling capabilities
using the DepthCharge™ software to the back end of the CAD
rendering software that the firm was currently using. This
enabled designs to be rendered and viewed in stereo 3D. In
addition, the firm purchased VR Visualizer™ glasses for all
its employees, allowing them to view 3D designs on their desktops.
Results: The firm's President reported that just making the
jump to CAD from hand drafting was a major accomplishment, now
the use of 3D stereo furthers the development of efficient and better
design and planning. The firm's architects found the aid of stereo
3D extremely helpful when rendering designs. They reported that the
information derived from the enhanced visualization is critical and
cannot be ascertained as accurately when viewing in 2D or pseudo 3D.
In addition, the use of the VR Visualizers enhanced the entire management
process allowing team members to view designs on their desktops.

hypothetical case study and is only an example of how our
technology can work in this industry.
